December 8, 2017

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Brighton, MN -- Luke Olson, Vice President of Pricing for LME, issued the following open letter to LME customers announcing rate increases to be effective January 1, 2018.

Dear Valued Customer:

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your customers, and for choosing LME as your transportation provider.

Due to the increased costs of recruiting, training and retaining qualified drivers along with the rising technology, insurance and equipment costs, LME will be taking a general rate increase of 4.95%. The increase will be effective January 1st, 2018. We will accomplish this by decreasing your discount and increasing your minimum charges and commodity rates rather than increase the LME base rate.

Sincerely,

Luke Olson
